Yoga is an exercise that's been used for over 5000 years. The meaning of the word yoga is "to join or yoke together". The reason for this meeting is because yoga is supposed to combine your mind, body, spirit in order to better your body. Studies have shown that asthma attacks have been prevented by practicing yoga without having to use medication. Yoga routines can be as effective as weight lifting workouts for burning fat. In addition to these, there have been numerous other studies being conducted to see whether or not they can help with other diseases or physical conditions.
